"Learn from challenging feedback"
This week in the professional practice class, I experienced what it is like to do a speed interview. I cheated a little bit by preparing in advance and memorizing the talking points. Hence, I was able to answer the question given in the prompt confidently and professionally. However, because of this, some commented on my answers as they leave no room for discussion and they can be more casual. In addition, some colleagues said that I could add more personal stories in the "talk about myself" instead of putting emphasis on the skills and interests I have.

This week I experienced my first job-hunting anxiety, even if I was trying not to let the negative feelings accumulate, I failed to seek an outlet and release such feelings. Afterward, after talking with members from my support system and distracting myself with a good workout, I was able to feel much better emotionally and physically.

Despite the speed interview workshop I had in class, which helped me prepare for job interviews, I also started preparing for an upcoming interview for Zendesk. The title for the role is Design Program Management, I need to learn more about the role as well as get to know the recruiter who is going to interview me.

In the speed interview workshop, I answered three questions regarding myself, my best project, and my design challenges. I was able to talk about my profession and my design process confidently. In addition, I have learned to talk about the problems I have when designing and talk about my approach to resolve these problems more comfortably.
